Welcome to our article where we have reviewed some of the best personal development forums.
We know it can be difficult at times trying to speak to friends and family about self-improvement. People either ‘get it’ or they don’t. And it doesn’t matter how much you love your friends and family, sometimes they’re just not the right people to share your thoughts with on this subject.
Fortunately, in today’s computer age, there are people you can communicate with all over the world – whatever your personal growth interest. And they are just a mouse click away.
We are lucky at successfulpersonalgrowth.com in that we have had the opportunity for a long time to look at several online forums dealing with self-improvement.
Forums and Facebook groups are fantastic places to interact with like-minded people, to discuss everything related to personal growth….. and, more importantly, to find the answers to those burning self-improvement questions.
The great news is that both of these resources are :
- usually free to join and
- provide a lot of quality information
Best Personal Development Forums
Steve Pavlina ![Forum Puzzle Piece [image]](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAAAAACH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==)
Steve Pavlina of stevepavlina.com used to host a popular forum. Unfortunately he closed this down in December 2011 (On closure it had 48,465 registered members). There were many reasons why he did this and you can read about them in this VERY long article.
The Personal Development Forum
thepersonaldevelopmentforum.com was opened up in May, 2013. It’s nicely set out and has a lot of potential. However, there isn’t many threads started and the members don’t appear to be very active at the time of writing. Hopefully it will pick up in time.
Mind Warrior Forum
Eventually, after much searching and testing, we found another new forum called mindwarriorforum.com This was actually developed from an idea created on the warrior forum – which is a forum for Internet marketers.
Mindwarriorforum is one of the newest self-improvement forums on the Internet – starting in the late summer of 2013.
Despite its young age, membership is growing fast and there are lots of keen members willing to contribute.
As you would expect with a personal development forum, there is plenty of talk regarding:
- The law of attraction
- Visualization
- Goal-setting
- Time management
- NLP
- EFT
- Meditation
- Etc.
A member of our own team participates on this forum on a daily basis and we understand that the owner of the forum, “Coach Comeback”, has some great plans for the future.
We have communicated directly with the “Coach”, so when we get to hear about any future developments we will update this article accordingly.
There are self-improvement ‘product developers’ on the forum and we know that, in addition to hosting a great meeting place for its members, the idea behind the forum is to provide massive discounts on self-improvement products. This is another reason why it’s well worth signing up for an account and checking back regularly to see what offers are being made.
Unfortunately, the coach has been away from the forum in recent weeks. However, he wrote to successfulpersonalgrowth.com a couple of days ago advising that he is now back in the ring and ready to rock again.
In the meantime, take a look at what’s going on over there at the moment. As a bonus, we are offering anybody who signs up to the forum all 15 of our free personal development books. Details of what you have to do to get those books can be found on our forum post here.
We’re looking forward to communicating with you directly on the Mind Warrior Forum.
** Important 2014 Update **
A Bug Free World
Since we originally posted this article (in November 2013), we have joined an even better forum. This new forum gets our vote as the best personal development forum. It is totally spam free, is full of high-achievers, and the people in it are fully committed to helping each other (there’s a lot of great net-working being done).
It is so good that we have actually written a separate article just for this forum!!!
There is a cost to this new forum BUT you do get a lot for your money. We highly recommend that you try it out for a month first and, if you join it today, we’ll give you 66 personal development books for free (see link below for details).
Here is the link to our in-depth review of the best personal development forum. We’ll see you in there.
